סיכום ביקורו של ד"ר קדאר- יולי 2011
חודש יולי עמד בסימן ביקורו של ד"ר קדאר שנדה כאורח של מגמת האיורוודה. ד"ר קדאר שזו לו הפעם הרביעית בישראל, הגיע לתקופה בת שלושה וחצי שבועות. זה המקום להודות ליעל פרל, ד"ר קדאר הינו המורה של יעל ואיתו למדה בהודו ובזכותה הקשר החם שנוצר בין ד"ר קדאר למכללת רידמן.

ד"ר קדאר הגיע מפונה, שם הוא מנהל קליניקה משגשגת יחד עם קליניקה נוספת שלו בגואה.
ד"ר קדאר התגלה כאדם הכמעט מושלם שלו ייחלנו במגמה (וחבל שהביקור הזה לא קרה כבר לפני כמה שנים).
מרצה מעולה, רהוט ובהיר, כריזמטי ומעניין, אשר מביא עימו את החדשנות ואת המדע הרפואי יחד עם איורוודה קלאסית ואיורוודה מסורתית אותה למד ממורה פרטי. ד"ר קדאר בהשכלתו - למד באוניברסיטה לתואר האקדמאי יחד עם לימודים ארוכי שנים אצל מורה פרטי בשיטה המסורתית של האיורוודה. הסטודנטים נתנו לו רק שבחים (בניגוד לשנים עברו) והייתה נוכחות מלאה בהרצאות שלו!
מטפל בחסד ומאבחן מדויק וחד. ד"ר קדאר ראה כארבעים וחמישה מטופלים! חלקם סטודנטים של המגמה ושל המכללה וחלקם הגיעו למכללה ולאיורוודה בפעם הראשונה מהמלצות של אחרים. בכל טיפול ישבו עימו כשלושה סטודנטים בכירים יחד עם אנשי צוות ההוראה של המגמה , צפו בטיפול ולאחר מכן ערכו דיון קליני במקרה. רוב המטופלים נתנו שבחים רבים ליכולת הראייה המדויקת והאבחון החד של ד"ר קדאר והתרשמו עמוקות ממנו ומהשיטה, והצופים בטיפולים - רק שבחים!
כמו כן, נתן ד"ר קדאר סדנה לקהל הרחב וסדנה למטפלים המקצועיים, השתלמות לצוות המגמה ושיחות אישיות רבות עם צוות ההוראה של המגמה.
ועיקר - אופיו של ד"ר קדאר, נעים ונינוח, זורם ומסתדר!
בקיצור - הצלחה גדולה בביקור זה! וכאן המקום להודות לכל צוות המכללה, לגברת סאלי רידמן שעזרה כל כך בהבאתו של ד"ר קדאר, לאילנה, המנהלת האדמיניסטרטיבית שלנו ולרון שפונט על הפעילות הענפה לשווק את הביקור כראוי, לרוני בת-עמי, ליוסף ולצוות אבות הבית שטרחו ועזרו ולענת-מנהלת קמפוס תל-אביב. תודה מיוחדת ליעל פרל ולצוות המגמה, לכל המרצים והאסיסטנטים אשר נרתמו למשימת האירוח של ד"ר קדאר ורצו בשקיקה עוד ועוד מהידע אשר בא להעניק!

This mail from should have been written earlier but after a great month spent very satisfactorily in Israel, I had plenty of pending work here in India on my return
Towards the end of my stay and even after coming back I received a lot of messages and mails from the students and staff of Reidman College, expressing their happiness and satisfaction towards the teaching program as well as the clinical experience. It would be very dishonest of me if I did not share the credit of this successful visit with the staff and management of the Reidman College.
I had come with some preparations for my lectures. I had done these preparations based on my experiences from previous visits to Israel and Europe and with some assumptions about the level of understanding that the students would have. I was pleasantly surprised that your students had a higher level of knowledge and understanding of Ayurveda (than I had expected) and I had to re-work my lectures. This was a pleasant experience even though it meant additional work for me.
I should congratulate Igal Kutin and his team for this. I can see that your Ayurveda faculty is taking efforts at giving substantial knowledge to students at your college. Yael Pearl Beker took some time with me to go into details of the course she will be teaching. Noga Glusberg, another faculty member discussed with me, the structure of the advanced course in ayurvedic pharmacy. It was surprising how much of Sanskrit ayurvedic terminology she was used and how much effort she is taking to make this course better for the students.
That I have not mentioned name of any other teacher has no negative implications. It is just that there was not enough time for the entire faculty to have discussions. But in general, I can say that you have a very strong, knowledgeable, dependable and determined faculty in your Ayurveda Department. I am told that the entire Ayurveda course has been re-structured since last year. From what I see of Igal Kutin and his staff, I am sure it will be a better course imparting more practical knowledge. I shall be sending my suggestions for technical improvements to Igal. I am sure that he is well equipped to take proper decisions on these in the current framework.
My stay in Israel was very comfortable. All the facilities regarding my accommodation, food and travel were more than satisfactory. I really appreciate this and thank you personally and your administrative staff for this.
Conclusively, the feeling of this visit being a good success is reciprocal from my side as well. Looking forward to a
continued relationship with Reidman College.
